5 Reasons to Spend April at Bellingrath Gardens and Home

We know we gush about Bellingrath Gardens and Home on the regular, but we can’t help it. Southern hospitality and history meet unparalleled beauty in one charming spot, and we secretly want to live there. Since taking up residence isn’t an option, we’re thinking we’ll just spend as much of the spring there as possible. Lucky for us, the April schedule is chock full of events worthy of a visit.
  1. All April Long: Rose Bloom Out

Tour the award-winning Bellingrath Rose Garden during its first bloom, which features more than 2,000 plants representing many of the best varieties to grow on the Gulf Coast. The roses will continue to bloom through fall, but the folks at Bellingrath predict that the next full bloom out will be in June. For peak blooming times, check out the Rose Watch at bellingrath.org beginning in mid-April.
