The Full Frame Documentary Film Festival is an annual event in downtown Durham, North Carolina, that draws people from around the world. Dedicated to the theatrical exhibition of non-fiction cinema, over 100 films are shown from morning to midnight at the four-day event spanning April 12-15, 2012. The festival is easy to navigate, with all movies shown within a four-block radius of one another.
Film lovers and film makers are welcome to attend. Its mission is to provide a space that nurtures conversation between artists, students, and the Full Frame audience and to enhance public understanding and appreciation of the documentary art form.
For the 2012 event, priority passes and festival passes are available. Priority passes give admission for one person for up to 20 ticketed events. Festival passes give admission for one person for up to 15 ticketed events. Film passes and student passes are also available at future festivals, but are sold out for 2012.
Advance tickets are available online or through the Duke University Box Office beginning April 2 and cost $15 for regular events and $20 for premium. Box office tickets at the festival are $10 for regular events and $15 for premium events. Last minute tickets, at the venues, are also available for the same price, but are payable only with cash.
