Pizza as Unique as the Grand Strand

There is something about the sand and the surf that makes a pizza even more delicious. While we may not have Chicago deep dish or New York style pizza we do have “beach style” pizza. Myrtle Beach Area chain Ultimate California Pizza serves up this unique approach with lots of tasty specialty options.

My family’s favorite is the CALIFORNIA WHITE PIZZA (Large $15.99) herbed extra virgin olive oil is the base of the pie that is then topped with chopped garlic, mozzarella, provolone, Chevre cheese, oregano, and parmesan. Ask for it on the Rosemary whole wheat crust for a flavorsome treat.

Another scrumptious choice is the HOLLYWOOD (Large $17.99) an all meat pizza that includes mozzarella, pepperoni, smoked ham, ground beef, Italian sausage, and pork sausage and just when you think it possibly couldn’t hold anything else they add more mozzarella and smoked gouda.

Not in the mood for pizza? Try one of the mouthwatering subs or sandwiches such as the meatball sub ($6.49) that is filled with juicy meatballs, the famous Ultimate red sauce, and provolone cheese. I cannot pass up the SONOMA VALLEY SPINACH SALAD ($6.99) crisp spinach with red onions, tomatoes, fresh mushrooms, crumbled bacon, then topped with smoked gouda and parmesan cheese. Out of this world!
